I own both Takara and Hasbro MP Starscreams, and Hasbro's MP Starscream is definitely better. More G1-accurate colours and better quality (hardier) plastics.
You'd think the OTCA spell checker server, that is surely trunked to the Vector Sigma database, would have picked up that glaringly obvious typo in poor Lio Convoy's name.

I thought being Hasbro and cheaper in price, that my MP Screamer would be inferior quality. Good to know it isn't.
    TF Figs of 2024:
    1) Legacy Magmatron
    2) Legacy Gears
    3) SS102 RotB Optimus

As a university chaplain once told me, "I'm not going to let a machine tell me how to spell and use grammar, especially when it's wrong half the time anyway."

Forum My browser's spell checker seems to be biased toward American English anyway... cos when I spell words normally I get red underlines beneath them, like when I type mould, colour, gaol, programme, manoeuvre etc. it picks it up as wrong and recommends that I spell them as mold, color, goal (that's not even right, it should recommend "jail"), program, maneuver etc. -- yet I never spell those words according to this board (or any other board's) US English spelling recommendations.

Yup. Although for people like me who already had the Takara version, I kinda felt ripped. But I still rushed at the chance to grab the Hasbro version from TRU anyway (and I'm glad I did, cos those babies sold out quickly! ) The Takara version does look somewhat more realistic in jet mode -- so I display it in jet with my Hasbro version in robot mode. The Takara version isn't worth getting... just stick with the Hasbro version. I only have both versions because the Takara version came out first (had I known that Hasbro would release a better version later, I would have skipped Takara's).

These were the 13 most popular TFs series as voted by the Deluxe Members last month, for next year's calendar.

    Armada
    Don't have any

Ok here goes. I'm also including pre-TFs as well as some of those weren't made into G1

Pre-TFs: MC-18 Magneman. The gimmick is inspired while it manages to also shrink down the basic design of Soundwave at the same time. Simply brilliant.

Gen1: All the Turbomasters and Predators (I'm naming 12 here- deal with it ). They managed to take the G1 toyline in Hasbro distribution markets and breathe enough life into it to give us G2. The line has intelligent gimmicks and great designs with classic styling.

If it wasn't for this line coming out, I probably would have walked away from Transformers at age 12.

Alternator/Binaltech/Kissplay/Alternity - Tracks and Hound. Both designs managed to stay true to the G1 originals but

Gen2: Dreadwing, Tank Megatron and Laser Rod Prime. All 3 are simply brilliant in their designs.

Beast Wars - Polar Claw and Optimal Optimus.

Robots in Disguise/Car Robots - Mach Alert, Speedbreaker, Brave Max, Omega Prime, JRX, Build King. So many brilliant toys in the line. Another line where I have to list more than a select few.

    Armada/Micron Legend - Overload

Energon/Superlink - Optimus Prime, Wing Saber and Omega Supreme - the most awesome Sentai style toy to ever grace a Transformers line.

Cybertron/Galaxy Force - Cybertron Defense Team. They're not a homage of any kind and manage to hold their own as original characters and toys brilliantly.

Animated - N/A (never really grabbed me- Ultra Magnus if I had to pick one)

Classic-verse/Henkei/Generations/Universe2/etc - Prowl, Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Megatron, Seekers, Jetfire, Wheeljack. Brilliant Homages all round.

Movie-verse - Bludgeon and Seaspray (purely because they belong in the Classics line)

Masterpiece - US & JP - Masterpiece Magnus (he's not really ultra without his trailer ).
