Godzilla looked great, moved well and the decisions the humans made were plausible. At the least I can see them being discussed!

It won't be everyone's cup of tea but it was a more emotional and smarter movie than I anticipated.
I enjoyed it, but with regards to the human factor, my problem was that I wish they had just settled on one protagonist. I found the human element in this film to be completely unfocused, as it jumped from character to character not one of which had any big impact on the overall story, basically all the human characters seemed to be cruising along so there was no real tension there. Good excuse for some great scenes though.

Pretty awesome monster fights too, even though Godzilla kinda Man of Steel'd the first Muto. Good to see the real Godzilla back too, not that terrible Zilla guy.

I still prefer Pacific Rim though, it was just as silly but there was more kaiju fightin!

I didn;t mind the flitting of "main" human characters as much. There were too many of them, and some of them were very wooden, but keeping the father as the link during the 15 year gap was a good idea to tie it together.

I must say that the lead military man must've been exceptionally well trained to be able to do everything that he did.

Watanbe just seemed to be gawking/in awe for most of the film and he had nothing but gut instinct to base his theories on!

I'm sure Watanabe will redeem himself in Age of Extinction as the ever-lovable and totally non-cliché Drift.

The new xmen was a great film, I really enjoyed it. It is not as well written as first class, but it runs along nicely and didn't confuse my missus with the time travel stuff, so bonus points for that.

Some won't enjoy it due to the changes from the source material or the heavy use of wolverine, but I think he is the best actor and character to carry us through these stories.

There are some lovely scenes and great effects in this movie, but it is stolen by Quicksilver, he owns his scenes.

That's awesome, I look forward to seeing it. What was Jennifer Lawrence like in this one? After seeing some quick clips of her here and there. She looked pretty good in this one

Saw Godzilla earlier in the week and was completely enthralled by it; perfectly paced with solid enjoyment throughout and man did the King of Monsters have a presence!

I'm really glad to see that a 2nd film has been Green-lit for production, with a possible 3rd on the way afterward - Gareth Edwards (Director) has also been named as the director of the 1st Star Wars spin-off movie!

She was awesome and central to the plot. While I enjoyed it, I am both glad and uneasy with *spoiler* how easily they retconned out the first three X-Men movies.

Did anyone see Stan Lee in this film? I must have missed him.

They did what they needed to do to get themselves a clean slate for future movies without rebooting. Don't know how many films they'll get with their ageing roster, but they can now set the next however many films whenever they want.

Jennifer Lawrence is the central character for events that occur, and she carries it with aplomb. Thankfully they got a bodysuit made for her to reduce makeup time!

Going to see it tonight. I can't wait.

I saw an interview with the director who explained why Wolverine does the time travelling and it was a fair enough reason so I'll be fine with it.
