You guys don't need a new mold for an MP Prowl, they'll just repaint Sideswipe. RID Prowl was a Lamborghini and a cop car.

Yeah but remember that Masterpiece is based on G1, and G1 Prowl was a Datsun Fairlady Z (280ZX) police car.

I suspect Verno was joking. If not it would be like telling him that Masterpiece Beast Wars Transmetal Megatron should just be a recolour of Grimlock, since they were both tyrannosauruses.

I was thinking about what accessories MP-12 should have and thought of the following....

#2 - Arm Drills (from A Plague of Insecticons)


#3 - Pile Drivers Type A (from SOS Dinobots)


#4 - Pile Drivers Type B (from A Plague of Insecticons)


#5 - Pile Driver Type C (from Fire on the Mountain)


#6 - Jet-Judo Parachute (from Roll for It)


#7 - Flame Blaster (from Divide & Conquer)


I'm really hoping the Takara will be able to think about these and wrote about the accessories and why in more detail (plus more pictures) over at my blog.

Fingers crossed they will do this well.

I agree with this & your Blog post HD; These would be awesome and I can't wait to see some prototype pics down the line to final production - I've got to say that this particular choice for an MP figure really has me excited, especially if a G2 Repaint is produced!
