Thanks ILS, well he's still available at Chimungmung for $130 plus 20+ shipping and it arrived in just 1 week.

Thanks Jinto! it's an impressive figure Can't believe the light up gimmick on this one really works, prolly the nostalgia thing that makes it more awesome for me heheh - oh and the die cast parts - he's heavier than MP 10.

@Trent: heres a pic comparison of all the victims... erm I mean human allies.. I think Ill just add eyes to the official Spike (with my shitty shaky hands Im likely to ruin it ahah) coz the 3PP one is too tall even taller than "Saprkplug"... from now on that one will be random victim # 1 Im planning now on getting more while these are still in production, also in case I break em, they're of good plastic but I feel like Im gonna break or loosen them up real quick on play.

Anyone here who has painted well those tiny 40,000 something something figures ( I forgot what they're called) who can help paint eyes on my Spike properly and is coming to Parra Fair? Help me out please.

UBER jealous Liege, nice acquisitions - I think Quakewave is now solely relegated to eBay, with regards to availability, sadly however.
(Should've bit sooner but just couldn't swing the doh at the time )

Urr, actually you can get him from BBTS... Haven't checked other sellers but I'm guessing that won't be the only place.

NO, not true Hursty. It's still available! I got this from Chimungmung - $130 plus 20+ shipping. Of course combined with other stuff that you can buy from them, postage cost goes down. They've got MP Bluestreak already as well. But Im getting mine from BBTS to add to my POL so I held back. There's still a chance to get one Hursty... This is the 3rd production run apparently and it came with the extra hands (opaque) and arm set so you can put the hose underneath ( I didn't bother with mine), & a set of symbol stickers - also the batteries are already installed so no need to look for it in the shops (apparently of the small button variety)

    Default Blood the Dark Warrior

Got this kit a few months ago and was wanting to post pics but only got round to it now! I think it's a very nice little upgrade kit, and for $16 from RK is rather reasonable.

ROTF Voyager Bludgeon is one of those special figures that come along occasionally... a burst of fresh creativity and passion that almost palpably infuses a TF toy. What this kit does is address two of the obvious weaknesses in an otherwise very good toy - the ugly head that doesn't look like G1 or anything else, and those bendy plastic swords that have a tendency to be anything but straight.

Ah, the magic of chrome... the swords are a massive improvement, and for me they are very nicely reminiscent of the Gundam Astray Red Frame model (one of the most popular and coolest of all time).

We even get a choice of faces, but I think this full skull look is definitely the better compared with the jawless look of the alternative face. I took a Gundam marker to mine, filling in the recesses and then rubbing it mostly off with a cotton bud to get the increased contrast which I think enhances the look. The helmet is also an improvement over the original, but it's loose, so is guaranteed to fall off in transformation, and is also difficult to keep in place in the recess where the head sits in tank mode. Additionally, the color of the brown doesn't quite match the original. These, so far, are the only weaknesses of the kit I have to complain about.

Overall, I'd give this Headrobots kit 8/10.
