Default Legacy Book needs your help for AUS/EURO stuff

The new Legacy Boxart book is currently being put together, and one of the authors (Jim Sorenson) needs help with a specific part of it... the 1990-1995 era of European toys - which we got here.

He's after original prints and artwork, but may use scans of actual artwork on the packaging as a last resort (depending on the quality).

Right now I have literally nothing from EU. So, as of the moment, I'd love anything and everything.
A word of warning, though. While I'll take box scans, most of those are of too low quality to be useful. It's really originals, Transparencies, card proofs, and photo negatives that are of a high enough quality to make their way into the book.
I'd really love to get the EU material into the book, and right now it's pretty iffy.
So if you want to make sure that the rest of the world sees what we got here, and be forever envious, help out if you can... or else the authors may just skip including the European era of Gen1 & 2 completely.

If you have something to submit, or have any questions about the project, email Jim at transformerstheark@yahoo.com - or check out his site. You can also contact me, or post here about what you have, and I can forward stuff to him if you prefer.

Glad to hear that Jim's aiming for quality images and not just using whatever he can find. Makes me look forward to this even more (but considering he's still after images I'm assuming the book's a long way off though...)

A release date has not be mentioned yet, but I'd imagine they have a set timeframe for compiling stuff, which probably isn't too much longer.

Goodluck to him getting his hands on the originals. Can't see to many willing MIB and loose collectors sending boxes over and back!

Hopefully Jim gets enough, I'd love to see the book be properly complete!

I'm going to see what I have left from my childhood, there was a tonne of boxes flatpacked into the attic when I was a kid, they are still there and may be in good condition. I'll be getting my mum to have a look and see if any of it's in good nick.

I don't recall many members owning any of the original art, that'd be a stretch.

I've got my packaging from the era and would scan whatever I can but most of it isn't perfect, especially anything where there was a bubble on card.

I think scans of the artwork would be an option, or acceptable, as it would be bigger than box-art and not have anything altered or cut off.

But as I mentioned above, even though it is unlikely that anyone here has any original artwork (I know there are some who collect comic art, so you never know), people who have mint packaging of those euro figures, could still ask Jim if scans of those are wanted as a back-up (if they were keen enough to contribute).
