I'm with you on that one. Clear plastic always puts me off to some degree.

I also find the silver grips on his legs a little strange given that they fold up to become the side of the gun. Not a big fan of the grey plastic they're using either, and it looks like he's got a whole ton of kibble on his back. This is definitely one I'd have to wait for reviews of before picking up.

I think it's just an homage to the G1 toy which had the silver plates on the sides of the feet. They might look a bit out of place given the changes to the transformation scheme but you can bet that if they'd been omitted, everyone would be crying for 'more G1'.

I'm not really keen on the look of MMC's newest figures, the proportions seem a bit off and they look... chunky?

I dunno. I do like the look of him. But I feel like the whole thing looks a bit too...busy? Too much going on at one time? Hard to explain. Maybe I'll change my mind once we see painted pics...

I like the look of these guys, and plan on holding onto my pre-orders. I know they're super durable to survive Peaugh however would like to see the combined form in some more dynamic poses. Perhaps something similar to what MakeToys Giant can do.
