I tried and my computer is connected to it, but it won't recognise my computer when it asks for which one to scan to. I'll have another crack at it.

Goodo, try using the computer to initiate the scan - Should be a program that asks how you'd like to 'Acquire' the image.

Yeah, but it's often easier to do it through the computer as it just limits/eliminates confusion in the long run.
