According to RKs Facebook page preorders are up and they are jumping on the early bird bandwagon by the sound of it. $79.90 if preordered before 15 March, $89.90 normal price. April release.

You know, in light of recent 3P releases, that is a lot of money for such a small figure that is ~80% an existing mold. When you consider that FP are pumping similar size figures out for ~$60. And this is the RK price. Wonder how much different BBTS price will be.

Ill have to think about this…

PE seems to have always charged more for their products (usually very small). Historically RK has usually brought out better prices than BBTS though. How is the Motobot mould compared with Deluxes and FP Warbots?

IMO it's easily on par with SteelCore as far as quality goes. It is a great little figure, but that's just it. It's little. And the early bird price on this is the same price I paid for SteelCore, which is a lot more toy. And Assaulter was $95, and he is massive compared to RC.

I just think Perfect Effect are being a bit greedy here.

I'd be lying if I didn't say I was disappointed with the end price of Not-Arachnia, with the sheer volume of other 3rd Party products coming up who's prices are comparable but with 'more toy'? - Sadly I may end up just skipping her which is a shame because I really wanted her (Just not at that price).

At the RK discount price it's $5 more than Motorbot for a deluxe size toy, thin though it may be. So I don't really know what the big deal about the price is. it's comparable to most third parties around in terms of cost for a combination of Size, quality and engineering, and better value than some.

Of course it's not quite as good value as and FP product, but what third party product is?
