My question exactly, a 4 to 8 week spread between the two wouldn't hurt, especially with the platinum magnus and Omega turning up soon.

I emailed Hasbro last week to see if these were delayed... they never replied.

If it is still being released in America in the next couple months, it might mean that TRU AUS will miss out on a lot of sales, if it ends up being cheaper to import the pair (especially if they are available to us via the US TRU website).

Considering I live 5 hours away from a TRU, if it ends up on the american TRU website first I'll be snagging it the moment I see it
