Also, it's Dreadwing (not Dread*wind*), so it needs a Smokescreen to go with him.

I would have preferred a Classics Dreadwind to a Dreadwing, but he still looks decent.

Wasn't that just a G2 rename, just because/trademark reasons not a seperate character?

G2 Dreadwing was a tank who combined with Smokescreen to form a stealth bomber, and there's no indication from his profile or anything else that he was meant to be Dreadwind. In the G2 comics he was actually the rebuilt form of G1 Darkwing. So yes - repurpose your toys as you wish, but making him Dreadwind is a potentially lateral move. (And Classics Darkwing would be about three times his size.)

Well there you go. I genuinely thought it was one of the earliest 'Trailcutter' type situations.

Now they need to give us G2 Smokescreen, then repaint both as ATB Megatron & Starscream!

Wasn't it Smokejumper - not Smokescreen?

Self-edit: Bah! I'm confusing the G2 version with the RID version aren't I

Hasbro are really spoiling us this year. I'm smitten with this mold for some reason... I really hope it comes out in a nice green and blue scheme.

Looking at Dreadwing's face I imagine he has a more brutish version of Jamie Oliver's accent. >.>

It has to dude, it simply HAS to!

This is an incredible consideration by Hasbro; who'd have ever thought that we'd ever even see prototypes of a G2 Dreadwing homage figure?, it's definitely a smart reuse of the mold and though I wish the head was a slight bit flatter/fatter I'll be buying this in a heart beat anyway.
