Generations Rattrap came up for Pre-Order, now he's sold out. I think I got in in time.

I too placed individual Preorders for Rattrap, Scoop, Tankor, Arcee & Chromia just to be on the safe side, mind you as soon as an Asiatic Retailer offers a cheaper alternative I'll be jumping from BBTS's ship quick-smart.
(The AU Dollar is just way too weak for my liking at the moment )

Interestingly, even though now listed as a Sold Out - Pre-Order, Rattrap's price is now listed as $19.99, even though he was originally listed as $17.99.

I checked my pre-order and it still has it as $17.99, but it's just another interesting twist in the trials of these Generations toys and BBTS.

Rattrap initially went up at $17.99 then sold out very quickly. They put him up again for order at $19.99 and he sold out again. If you ordered at the cheaper price they will honour it, as per usual.

This is very common for BBTS when they are breaking up a case of toys. They drip feed their allotments out to determine how each individual is selling and adjust prices in response to that. The higher the demand for an individual figure, the higher the price, while unpopular figures start to drop in price (see: Tankor, IDW Bumblebee, Mini-con 3-pack, etc). This is the downside of the Hasbro approach of having case assortments instead of the Takara approach of cases of individual figures. Different markets though.
