Yep, there are a few hobby shops among the many stores there. Lots of Gundam stuff for those who are interested.

    Down Fuk Wing St, IIRC.

Mighty Machine Men were indeed what they were known as here in Oz, more generally however they're known as Gobots.

Hehe, glad they've brought back some memories guys - Hopefully mostly good ones.

I really wanted to get a hold of a Crasher figure and thought I'd have to look abroad to do so, but a week or so ago she popped up locally along with Loco (A childhood favourite of my own + Steam Locomotive! ) & Tux (A transforming Rolls Royce who's Bot mode dons a top hat? - Professional ), couldn't believe my luck when I actually won the trio!

Gobots may of been the lesser of the 2 competing 80s franchises, but there is definitely some cool aspects to it & these 3 are shining examples in my opinion.

Great pickup with Tux Hursti, he's the machine man I always wanted! I think he was based on Baron Samedi, the voodoo lao of the dead, hence the top hat and eyes that look like glasses, and I think he was also supposed to be a hearse, at least initially. I couldn't find anything online re Baron Samedi being the inspiration so naturally I stand to be corrected, but it lines up with his use as a hearse!

Keep it in the boot of your car.
