    Wow!

That Waspinator looks WAY off, not a fan of those hues or finishes at all - Rhinox looks much more palatable, but the only real pro above his Western iteration is that his "Chainguns of Doom" are painted...

Didn't think this'd be the case, but I think I too will be sticking with the Hasbro releases - They at least seem far more "Toy Accurate" in colour.

Hmm... Ill wait to see how the actual paint apps on the Hasbro version turn out, as the existing pics look like photoshop.

Looking at these figs, can Has/Tak please do a proper Dinobot!

    Oh dear...

TRANSFORMERS: DEICIDE -- The Beast Wars 20th Anniversary Comic Book series that could have been...
TRANSFORMERS: UNITY -- the BotCon 2016 Comic Book that should have been...

Oh, come ON TakTom! All you have to do to make these guys shine (pun not intended) is go metallic for the ROBOT mode parts, and leave the ORGANIC parts non-shiny. Like in the show.

Don't pull a Springer again, please...

Waspinator has the same kind of "so close, yet so far" colour scheme that Henkei Dinobot has. Rhinox is alright I guess.

Well, having digested the pics some more, I wish I could say I knew which versions I'd be pre-ordering - but I can't.

I think I'll have to wait for some comparison pics before deciding which Rhinox and Waspinator will adorn my shelf.

Given that in Hasbro's case we've only seen photoshopped, painted prototypes - I reckon that's a fairly sensible approach... that Takara Waspinator though!?!

I know what you mean, though it's something I can't quite put my finger on.

I like the colours but is it just me or does the plastic look really cheap and nasty?
