Not sure if this includes Eastern States RAC, but RAC members in W.A can buy Woolies/BigW gift cards at a 5% discount. 5% off Metroplex.

yup you can.I buy them for purchasing fuel anyway. On the note, using this will not allow you to use your rewards card.

Popped into Big W Highpoint (VIC) at around 4pm yesterday and Metroplex was scanning for $98.

I counted 7 units, but could have been one or two units more as they were stacked on the very top shelf. I'm not overly tall ......

One thing I noticed on ALL the boxes I inspected was that one of the end panel was bulging out (i.e. box appears to be packed improperly???). I can't remember if this was the same for Target or overseas orders because I've opened mine.

this was the same for all the ones at big W Macquarie.
    it's probably a batch thing.

Same thing with mine which was purchased at TRU, but it's not too bad, despite it being from an undamaged and unopened shipping carton. The packaging inside seems to be too long for the box to seal shut in a flush manner. Thats my understanding from the ones that ive seen so far.
I'd say it's from the way they're packed & sealed from the factory.

How many people who've purchased from Big W have already opened and assembled their Metroplex?

as noted in the "transformers Questions by newbies etc..." thread, mine is missing a clip on the inside of the shoulder to install the arm properly.

I'm wondering if this is a batch issue or if this is just mine?

Take it back, as it looks to be missing a part - not that surprising with the amount of parts and complexity of constructing Transformers toys.

I don't worry about a bit of smudge paint or some minor scratching, but if there is something missing or broken, I'd get a replacement if possible (which isn't easy when importing most toys). Since you bought domestically, take it back before they sell out.
