Also for you guys collecting the Masterpiece line how many copies of each figure do you normally buy? (e.g. 1 to put on display and another to keep in box etc)

Personally I want to take mine out of the box and put them on display but do they retain much resale value if opened?

Of the select MPs that I buy I usually just get one to keep in the box, and then I'll keep a look out for a second MIB one that I can buy to display. So far though, it's MISB = 6, MIB/loose = 0.

Opened MP toys will never retain as much resale value as their MISB counterparts but if you're not planning on reselling them and just want to get full enjoyment out of them then you should definitely open and display them.
