Hi folks,
I've mostly hung out on tfw, but figured I should finally get in touch with the local crew and pass my OzFormers probation.
The first TF I remember owning as a kid I thought was G1 Bumblebee, but recently found out was Hubcap. This was followed by a G1 Jazz, which at some stage I stood on the canopy, crushing it and is now lost to the annals of time. When we moved house, I was heartbroken that my G1 Beachcomber somehow didn't make the transition.
Let's just say while many of my toys survived my childhood, they didn't do so in good condition.
Fast forward 25 years and I'm currently collecting official MP, with occasional outliers like MakeToys Giant, Generations Metroplex, Project Genesis and Quakewave. These days these are of course extremely well looked after!
I'm currently living under the hopeful delusion that iGear will reissue PP03A Attack, PP03E Elegy and PP03J Jet, or that Takara will do official versions based on a modified MP-11 mould, or that someone will sell the iGears to me in box for close to the original retail price (US$160), and not the now utterly obscene eBay prices ($250-$400). Y'know, because clearly I can afford such things with all the official and third party MPs launching this year
