    MP10 or MP Bluescreen

How many TFs did you acquire in 2013?
    Between 200 and 220

    What was your favourite?
So many to choose from! I'll do it by toyline:
    G1: Computron
    Masterpiece: Soundwave
    Titanium: WW Grimlock
    YOTS: Omega Supreme
    Generations: Metroplex
    TFPrime: Skyquake
    Beast Hunters: Ultimate Predaking
    Go!: Hunter Shockwave
    Arms Micron: Jet Vehicon General
Rescue Bots: Optimus Prime with trailer
    Constructbots: Blitzwing
    ROTF: Hoist
    DOTM: Human Alliance Roadbuster
    Bot Shots: Stunticon 5-pack
    Kre-O: Bruticus
    Timelines: Jackpot
    Alternators: Skids

What surprised you and was better than you expected?

*The Kre-O Combiners look much cooler than I thought they would
*A lot of the Generations toys such as Springer, Skids & Hoist came out great!

    What was your biggest disappointment?

*Not getting MP Streak (hopefully pick him up this year)
*Missing out on a few great online deals
*The alt mode on Go! Shockwave

    Did you have any milestones?

*No milestones per se, but picked up a lot of figures that I was after. Particularly happy to finally get the G1 Technobots and Titanium Grimlock

How many TFs did you acquire in 2013?
I did a rough count based on my online orders and what I remember buying locally and I have purchased 264 this year.
    What was your favourite?
Soundwave and metroplex. Soundwave is a better figure but I had so much fun sticking the stickers on metroplex that I couldn't split them
What surprised you and was better than you expected?
I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the kreons. I'm not much of a lego fan and the kre-o sets don't do it for me so to enjoy the kreons as much as I did really surprised me
    What was your biggest disappointment?
failing to complete my 2013 goal of complete the the 4 beast series
    Did you have any milestones?
Not that I can think of

Didn't really have any disappointments, all figures were about as good as expected.

How many TFs did you acquire in 2013?
    10 sets (12 toys)

    What was your favourite?
MP Soundwave. Pretty much a flawless reimagining of my favourite character from childhood.

What surprised you and was better than you expected?
MP Streak. Wasn't going to get it, as i'm not normally a fan of "smash repair" paint jobs (like they grabbed a bonnet from another car) but now i'm a believer, it's just beautiful. New years resolution: always have faith in Masterpiece!

    What was your biggest disappointment?
They still haven't made MP Galvatron!

    Did you have any milestones?
Milestone might be this is the least number TF's i've purchased since i got back into collecting after 2007 movie? Think it's a good thing though cause I don't have the shelf space (actually, more like room space now) and have no purchasing regrets!

How many TFs did you acquire in 2013?

    About 80
    What was your favourite?
MP Soundwave. So sexy and his cassettes are included here too. It pretty much summs up what I think the Masterpiece line should be, a sexy cool update on classic forms and characters. Brilliant.

What surprised you and was better than you expected?

Metroplex. I knew he was going to be big, but he was biger than expected, add to that, more articulated than I thought and generally funkier all over. I have been having fun with him playing with many other toys I have in the place as well as Transformers.

    What was your biggest disappointment?
I have a few terrible Transformers but Generations Blitzwing is number one. On paper he works well, but just in plastic. Guh! Too many bad QC probs... Honourable mentions go to FOC Grimlock, most of the FOC deluxes, Impactor (and by default, but less so Onslaught) and BH Shockwave

    Did you have any milestones?
    Nope

Could have been a good year character wise, but the change to cheap manufacturing and design really punched Transformers in the nuts.

How many TFs did you acquire in 2013?
About 100. Total collection about 100.

    What was your favourite?
3P: Planet X Genesis (not Omega Supreme).
Licenced: Encore Omega Supreme. Oh the electronic gimmicks are fun.

What surprised you and was better than you expected?
Laserbeak & Buzzsaw from Hasbro MP Soundwave. The design behind the transformation is incredible. The camera gimmick on its forehead was an additional pleasant surprise.

    What was your biggest disappointment?
Encore Sky Lynx. That arrogant bastard (). Got him just to complete the Encore Series.

    Did you have any milestones?
Get as many decent Megatron & Galvatron toys as possible. Unfortunately, ended up with many more Optimus Primes.

How many TFs did you acquire in 2013?
    • Circa 50.

    What was your favourite?
    • An extremely close tie between MP Soundwave & Fortress Maximus.

What surprised you and was better than you expected?
    • The MP Datsun Mold - I had initially completely dismissed it upon its announcement, but once the 1st shots of the prototype emerged via Shogo Hasui's twitter account my jaw dropped and my opinion did a complete 180.

    What was your biggest disappointment?
    • Australia's continued void of new product.

    Did you have any milestones?
    • Achieving the goal of obtaining both 2ft Tall Transforming Titans made available by Takara.

How many TFs did you acquire in 2013?
Dunno, I wanna say just under 20 actual Transformers, I'm not including non Transformer third party transforming robot toys though then the number increases significantly

    What was your favourite?

From actual Transformers a tie between MP Soundwave/Prowl

What surprised you and was better than you expected?
    Generations Springer

    What was your biggest disappointment?
The quality of Hasbro and Taktom Generations toys, most felt a bit cheap and flimsy.

    Did you have any milestones?
Not really, I bought Metroplex the biggest TF I own (as I have no Fort max), but aside from size novelty, I'm a bit meh about him.
