That is an absolutely superb effort Vert , you've truly breathed a new lease on life into a figure that had very clearly seen better days! - Bloody well done man.

Curious about how you restored the chrome. hey if you bought one of those 3rd party sets - it comes with a matrix to fit in the chest plus 2 fists which the fingers open close and can hold the Cartoon like gun it comes with and there's also a rocket backpack . I forgot what the set is called, but it's what I've put in my loose G1 displayed prime- I still keep the original hands in his chest. Good restore there Vert! The figure you started with is veritably what Prime should've looked like after his battle with Megatron in the G1 toons movie, then I might believe that ... yup he's gonna kick the bucket coz that's extensive damage.. and not just a nick to his sides...hahaha

That's terrific work! Certainly not easy to tell it's such a complete restoration. Very impressive before and after.

That'd be the BTS 03 Matrix of Leadership set
I purchased mine from RK a while back & have used it on my Classic Reissue OP
