These latest pics seems to suggest the feet design has changed a little bit?
Or it was previously mistransformed... or is it mistransformed here?
Either way, i like it, he no longer has floating heel syndrome!

Edit... and the front mirror is missing too? Gonna assume that's just a piece well have to be careful not to lose!

I think one of them is mistransformed. I am thinking it might be the new one that is incorrect.

The piece seems to fill in the gap between the feet when they join together in vehicle mode. It looks like it rotates down to form the base of the foot on a pin going from the white piece to the black base. There is also what looks like an ankle tilt joint visible in the previous shots.

If you look at the picture Husticon linked to a few weeks ago it is consistant with the official pictures

Now that i look at this other foot, i think you may be right - but mistransformed looks better to me! Maybe proper transformation gives him a bit more sideways motion at the ankle.

The newer pic (on right) seems to have a mark just to the left of the black piece that touches the ground. On the older pic, you can see that mark is facing upwards. That seems to suggest that white piece rotates up (from touching the ground) to fill in the gap.

Exactly (glad someone understood what I was saying).

Only nitpick thing I disagree with is that I think the piece rotates the other way. If you have it going clockwise 90°, it might clip the ankle joint, so it may go anti-clockwise and have to spin 270°. Unless the ankle can lift up higher as part of the transformation to give it clearance.
But it is the same result either way.

I agree that it looks better. I wonder if it has an effect on the stability though.
