I'm much in the same boat dude, I've got Takara's Gens figure and just can't justify this bloke's purchase ; Which is a shame because this thing is an absolutely amazing "love letter" to the original toy and I think it does a better job at being a city/base & mobile battle-platform than said Generations figure.

@Trent: You're not wrong dude, but with a little imagination one should be able to see: "Oh! - It's some kind of base or something?", well I think so anyway.
