Geez...

If this is how much some PAINTED prototypes are going to be scrutineered, the final release should be interesting!

So far this bloke is looking good; G1/Diaclone proportions are in check and that head/face sculpt looks as if its been ripped (Or rather picked up off of a Junkion Scrap-heap ) straight out of the '86 movie.

Good lord I hope we see a Diaclone Powered Convoy repaint out of this mold.

Yeah, glad to see the head's looking better than the grey prototype images.
Still wish his butt-flap folded away, but it's less obtrusive than I thought it'd be.
Would kind of like the lower legs to be blue rather than red (i.e. for TT to prioritise robot mode over alt mode), but it still looks pretty good as is.

that red front bumper looks out of place. why isn't it silver like prime? actually so do the red side panels in alt mode. it would look better uniformly blue but keep the lower inner legs red.

Not overly excited by this but will grab me a piece maybe next year...
I still find the proportions of the KFC interpretation of Magnus to be a little more appealing somehow...

I was wondering about the front bumper too so I took a look at his vehicle mode in the movie and and S03E05 and he does indeed have a red front bumper in both. So they're sticking to animation model colors except for the thighs/trailer are white which is good for robot mode accuracy but looks a little off in trailer mode. All in all I think they've done a fantastic job of faithfully recreating him in MP model and December can't come soon enough.

I suspect that they're photos of the hand painted mock up used at the show.

Hope they ditch the red bumper for silver or grey, and make the lower legs blue for robot-mode accuracy over alt-mode accuracy. I suspect I'll be waiting on a Hasbro release for this one.

Nice to see the missiles can flip over and attach to the front of the car carrier, and glad to see the gun looks a decent size.
