    Hehehehehehehehehehehehe.

I have an MP Ultra Magnus! I've been waiting for this for a while

    Anyway, to the point:

The good far outweighs the bad. His size is awesome. He is just so imposing. His proportions are perfect. He looks like he stepped right out of the cartoon.
I managed to remove the gap between his ramps and shuns by sliding the ramps past the tab that holds them. They now sit flush against his shins

    And some bad:

Very bland. Could have used more paint apps to liven him up a bit.
My copy has trouble tabbing the arms together in alt mode. It takes quite a bit of fiddling to get it to stay in position.
He has very limited shoulder articulation. It is somewhat helped by the transformation pivot but still not ideal.
    No waist articulation.

Matrix holding hand is a bit of a cheat. I was a little disappointed at this for some reason.

That'll do for now. Sorry for the pinkish photos. I was looking after the little fella while taking these and didn't realise the white balance was all screwed up. Plus I don't have the time to fix it in Photoshop

Overall I love it! Can't wait to get some photos wit him and Rodimus

    @Sinnertwin:
Yep, $194 was close to how it broke down for me: $196 (AUD) PayPal Exchange Rate: ¥1.00 = $0.93 (AUD) with EMS shipping as always.

    (Technically, it's actually 2 days, 16 hours, 16 minutes! )

HLJ's track record continues to be nothing but exemplary.
According to the tracking my Magnus from HLJ reached Melbourne at 8.14am this morning. Really hoping he arrives in Swan Hill either tomorrow or Wednesday

    Holy crap dude!

I'm not seeing any "Pink" at all via my tablet Trent, your shots look amazing.

He's a beefcake huh? - A poseable one though but I dig the diecast slabs he has for "toes", he feels to me like his heft starts solidly from his base and tapers gradually as you move up.

I've transformed him once thus far and found him to be entirely intuitive, instructions are wholly unnecessary too as tabs and hinged-panels all seem to be exactly where you expect them to be.

I look forward to seeing more of your shots when you've got the time mate - he does have some bland spots that I think are exacerbated by his sheer size, but for a big bloke MP Magnus sure does hold up to the preceding car bots and deserves plenty of coverage.

If your AusPost channels are good out your way Trev, with all hope it'll be Wednesday at the latest.

He's fun man, he'll be worth the wait.

Actually, HLJ are also closed from 28/12~5/1. It's just that for any orders that HLJ were posted before they took a break would be in transit, as that is the work of the postal service(s). Also, HLJ are a bit more expensive than Anime Export (although HLJ only charges you once the toy is ready to be shipped, as opposed to AE's immediate charge upon preorder).

Trent - yours is the first shot I've seen of the cab on its own (I didn't realise it could separate.) Can the trailer approximate any of the base and launcher modes of the original toy?

I have no idea what you're talking about. What are these base and launcher modes you speaks of?

He's referring to the Battle Station Mode. It's something that Diaclone Powered Convoy had, but was not included in G1 Ultra Magnus' instructions, but obviously the original G1 Ultra Magnus toy could do it anyway (same w/ Battle Convoy/Optimus Prime's standing repair bay mode).
