If I had to guess, I'd say you'd get a Devastator with the ability to do that, rather than a Devastator built specifically for that.

I don't see why Hasbro can't just make the standard Constructicons, and release a separate Prowl toy that happens to be cross-compatible. Yeah alright, it would most likely mean compromises to the engineering of the Prowl figure compared to say Universe/Henkei Prowl, but that's to be expected w/ gestalt figures anyway. Include a flippable table for added value.

If this all pans out? - I really, REALLY hope they've learnt that a Voyager is required for the torso as a Deluxe simply does not cut the mustard.

But they wouldn't have & we'll probably end up with another flimsy mess of plastic

Quite possibly... In any case; I'm only really seeking to replace my FansProject enhanced Classics Energon mold Superion, as I'm pretty damn content with my MakeToys "Type-61" Green Giant & FansProject "M3" Intimidator.

If Hasbro DO end up producing Menasor & Devastator, and they're any good, I will certainly consider their purchase - Not holding my breath however.
(I want a modern Magnaboss, Tripredacus & Railracer anyway )

But it just might cut the cheese
On the lookout for MISB Headmaster Highbrow, Takara or Hasbro. I'm sure I could make you a sweet deal!

He is so obvious it's sad.

Transformation spoilers of Voyager Optimus His arms are obviously the front of truck mode with the windscreen forming the back of his shoulders. The legs looks to just fold down like the G1 toy, not like modern toys where you spin the legs around. and his lower torso and crotch look to fold back into the truck.

I just really wish he had a bigger, more IDW head.

Well the originals were worse... but I guess we didn't know better back then... it did however make us use our imagination.

You know how sometimes you see a girl from behind (or guy, depending on your preference), and think "Wow!". Then... they turn around, and it changes to "oh... that's a shame..." Generations G1 Arcee is the opposite; from the front, oh so lovely! That backpack though... "oh... that's a shame..."

Still a definite purchase of course, but her 'little' booster/wing thingoes are a fav aesthetic feature of mine, so maybe it matters more to me than most.

Please have a listen to my songs. Feel free to comment if you wish, any constructive feedback is appreciated =o)
