As you noted, I wasn't the only Australian bidding... but I was probably the least successful, with no wins out of all the items I bid on.
(I didn't even bother bidding on the toy items I was interested in, because I knew they'd go well beyond what I valued them at... and they all did go for more than what I would have bid.)

It's sad to hear of a collector moving on and selling up their collection, but it is good to hear that many items went to collectors in this country, as we don't have many of those sorts of JP Gen1 items in circulation here.
