But that would be just a Voyager, not a Leader.

The only way they could do that is if he comes with a trailer that uses the combiner connections to form his armour.

1AZRAEL1 & I were discussing this earlier today; If it is a Leader it will have to do something drastically different to the Masterpiece figure (That will surely see a Western Release) otherwise what is the point of it?

If it's not simply a repaint of a pre-existing toy, who the hell seriously would buy something like that at this point?, I reckon we'll see a "White Optimus" that combines with his trailer.

Now, if this ends up being an entirely new mold comprised of a cab + trailer it'd have few repaint/retool potentials I reckon (Going off of Megatron/Armada Megatron, wouldn't it be cool if we got a modern Armada Overload? )

Therefore, I think a 3rd use of the upcoming IDW Prime Voyager mold is the most likely candidate and I'd be entirely open to this - I'm really curious to see if the mold has the sort of versatility to enable it to work with Combiner-limb figures as well as specific Armour-upgrade components as I think that'd set a rather interesting precedent for future figures.

Time will only tell I guess.
