Box art on the front has surfaced from somewhere on Facebook (Seibertron didn't post up a link to a source again, so I can't say where it is from to give the original person the credit).

Looks a little 2-dimensional... and Perceptor is like a cardboard statue.
Where's the overdone action poses we used to have in character art.

It went the way of dull surprise.

Seriously though, I have to say that while Perceptor does look a little static, Blaster's pose is kind of crazy dynamic: the twist, the leg bend, the point, the open tape deck... it's all pretty exciting. I can only guess that the artist wanted to contrast Perceptor with that, but unfortunately the result is that he looks kinda boring.

Definitely keeping my fingers crossed that I'll be able to get hold of this set, but it's not as much a priority as some other stuff at the moment.

I find it a little odd that they changes sides when you open the box...

Ken Christiansen has been doing the pencils for combiner wars stuff, he did the Insecticons I'm pretty sure. I don't know who the colourist/renderer is because it's someone working for Dena/Mobage (TF Legends guys)

Reminds me of the artwork on vintage Master of the Universe boxes.

The Insecticons and Coneheads packaging art looks great, but this one feels a bit flat compared to the action shots on the others.

Perceptor is pictured as all guns blazing. Does that fit his persona?
