    Just saw this on QI tonight... in Hong Kong, you can have your wedding at Mcdonalds for as little as AU$500.... and they do it rather flashy too.

    Imagine Mcdonalds in Australia doing weddings... it would be a tacky bogan fest.

    But the Wedding Cake would be one of these, and they are pretty damn good.

    you obviously haven't been to a whole lot of Australian Weddings, a lot of them are anyway.

    A mate of mine used to film weddings on the side to supplement his creative works. I remember picking up a drive from him (or a camera, or a tape deck, whatever it was) and he was in the middle of editing a wedding video.

    The footage was of the bride in a horrible puffy white dress, trying to smoke a cigarette at arm's length while holding a can of Beam & Cola.

    She was picked up in a stretch Hummer.
