Really hope they some good folk attached to this. I like good long story arcs. The MCU ones are great.

One thing though I hope they don't significantly change the character models from the current ones.

Hopefully they can learn from their mistakes and make decent movies. Not gonna get over Age of Extinction and how awful that movie (and everything revolving around it) was
I'll update this when I'm needing help finding particular figures

I wonder how you'd do spin-offs for Transformers?

If they do this right, this could be awesome.
But here some reasons that it probably will NOT be awesome.
    The Twins.
    Explosions.
Killing off most of the good characters and nearly all of the Decepticons.
    No story.
Dinobots getting 5 minutes of screen time.
    Megan Fox.
    Shia LeBouf.
    Marky Mark.
and the biggest reason (and arguably the only reason)

Keep Bay and Bonaventura out of the "writers' room" and we might get a decent story for once.

In all honesty, I think this is great news. Bring on the movies and the cash it brings in.

TRANSFORMERS: DEICIDE -- The Beast Wars 20th Anniversary Comic Book series that could have been...
TRANSFORMERS: UNITY -- the BotCon 2016 Comic Book that should have been...

Unless they make a gobots movie it'll hardly be a 'cinematic universe'

More like franchise spin-offs like X-Men to Wolverine or Daredevil to Electra.

I do not hold great hopes for this when the guy who wrote scripted gems like: "Get them, get the heroes!" and "What killed the Dinosaurs? - An Ice-Age!" is commissioned to helm such a project.

I like one-liners, especially Arnie one-liners, but "I am legend" and "Lost in Space" were just bad and anyone willing to produce 3 "Paranormal Activity" films needs to seriously question themselves.

Akiva Goldsman does not have a good track record, helming a round-table with Bay and Spielberg definitely wont guarantee good story telling, but I'll bet it'll be a sure-fire recipe for...
