I was worried too, but eventually forced it apart. It doesn't help that there are moving parts there to make it difficult to get a good grip.

Yeah that part is incredibly stiff on mine but it does come apart just like in the video

Thanks guys. I finally managed to budge it. It was a very stressful moment.

One other problem I had with mine and wanted to know if this is common - Bonecrushers foot came right off Where it splits in two, there's a shiny pin holding it in place and the pin basically popped out. I pushed it back in but there was no 'click' or some other such noise to indicate it went back in properly. So, what's holding this pin in place? I suspect that kup may be able to answer this best.
