    So....

nacelle v2 is here.... And it was still sealed, unchecked, and just as screwy as nacelle v1!!!!

So now my dilemma.... Complain it's still bad? Or shut up and accept my free figure?

Even though you got yours a couple weeks after Americans, you must have been the first person to ask them about the problem before they realised it was on every toy... or you had someone respond to you who didn't know about the issue and sent out the replacement.

I'd just keep it and look at fixing them both yourself, or fix one and sell off the other as-is for someone else to fix if they want.

You certainly got a better outcome than I did when I bought an extra Club membership toy Dion a few years back and it had a missing tail-light. They wouldn't send out the part in an envelope... I had to post back the toy at my expense for them to post back a new one. Considering it was only a $20-25 toy (membership toys were only about that much back then) that was for selling off to others, it was not worth paying to have it posted back - since I'd have to discount it to sell it, either way it was a loss of money, but paying postage would lose me more money.
It was their faulty product, but it was my responsibility to pay for a replacement.
(and this was before the over-charging of postage issue, which I could have used to force them to send out the replacement at their expense)

after a couple more emails, trying to make it clear what my problem is the final message reads like this:

I do apologize for your issue. This does seem to be an overall problem with this figure and unfortunately our few remaining pieces are exactly the same. We have contacted the manufacturer in hopes they may possibly have a resolution for us on these. I will keep your email and if and when we hear something we will let everyone know. Thank you.
I haven't replied yet, (I received this late last week) I haven't figured out what to say that isn't mean or snarky. It's pretty frustrating.

I think that's pretty telling of how few fans now communicate with FunPub for them to take so long to realise that this was a fault in all the Nacelle toys, because they still haven't made an announcement or acknowledgement of the issue.
When you get burnt in the past, even though you still want certain toys, people would rather be stuck with a faulty toy than try to communicate with them ever again... or that their website contact page is not working (and they don't want to fix it or else they'd have to deal with people's complaints).

It's clear that the website contact page isn't working.

It's so frustrating that this has happened, I wonder if it's related to the design this time calling for the wing to actually be swapped, note that the screw holes are in the top of the wing on Nacelle, so they can put those stickers over them I suppose. it's the opposite of pretty much all the other seekers and shown in the illustration, therefore intentional.

I will be very hesitant to get the Sub service 4 that's for sure. I like the look of a lot of the figures, but I will be bored with all of their transformations long before they turn up.
the tanking dollar and the sheer unreliability of the quality control and the fact that the insurance clearly doesn't mean anything.

the upside down main wings and screw cover stickers ARE INTENTIONAL. It was done the same way for thrust in the botcon box set a few years ago "by mistake" on the mock ups, but they actually liked it and kept it for thrust. So with nacelle based on thrust mood, they did it again

IId get on to them. This is a service that they you for and they have produced a faulty figure. All of them by the looks of things.

Wonder if their is an american Fair trading thing that can be complained to? This is ridiculous (Not surprising though).
