Good news, everyone!

The BBC revealed today that two complete episodes of Doctor Who have been returned to the BBC Archives.

Firstly, the complete third episode of the William Hartnell story Galaxy 4, Air Lock has been recovered - prior to this only a short segment from the first episode remained in the archive with no telesnaps taken to show how the third episode and its characters would have looked.

Secondly, the complete second episode of Patrick Troughton's third story The Underwater Menace has also been recovered - making this the earliest complete episode for the Second Doctor to now exist in the Archives (alongside the existing episode three).

Both episodes were found via former TVS engineer Terry Burnett, who bought them at a school fête in Marchwood, Southampton back in the 1980s!

I just found out about this .... HURRAH!

Happy as I am for any missing episodes to be recovered.... why couldn't it be Tenth Planet 4 or Daleks Masterplan 12 instead of Underwater Menace 2?

I actually have a friend that works on the old episodes in re-editing them, his name is aaron and he told me from day one but when I saw his name pop up I must admit I was all noob like saying "I know that guy!"so funny lol.

She blasted off into space to have her own adventures (which have yet to be seen/read/heard). The interesting thing about Jenny was that she was played by Georgia Moffett who is:
1. The daughter of Peter Davison, the Fifth Doctor.
2. Married to David Tennant, the Tenth Doctor.
...so it's kinda like she's the Doctor's daughter and wife IRL -- incestuous! (jkz)
