Default Difference Between the new Fort Max toys?

What's the difference between the Takara Tomy Fort Max and the Hasbro version, except for the price tag lol

    Thanks

Takara is matching the G1 colours better, and should be including the Swords just announced with the SDCC hasbro version. Might have the SDCC emissary head too..

I'd like to see a side-by-side comparison of the three versions in bot mode, as the SDCC version just doesn't look like it is different enough to be worth getting, particularly if you are getting the Japanese version (or the Hasbro version and finding a Sword later).

I know why the SDCC versions are never different characters or significant colours from the retail versions, but this one seems to be an extra US$30 for just a sword, packaging and a tiny Titanmaster... and the sword wasn't even something that the Hasbro G1 Fort Max cartoon/comic character, or toy, had.

I think the Japanese version will be the best of the three, if you are willing to pay a little more for it (it is about the same cost in AU$ before shipping as the SDCC version).

Okay, so from his first image, the top left is SDCC (red shins & blue feet), top right is JP (grey shins & blue feet like Gen1 toy), bottom left is Hasbro retail (red shins & red feet), and bottom right is the actual Gen1 toy.
The chest area is also different colours between the three... so it comes down to a choice between what looks nicest to you, or a Gen1 colour scheme if you are a stickler for that sort of accuracy.

Looking at those pics I am very happy with my SDCC purchase from PC. Normally I would always say that the TAKTOM version is the best but I'm not sure in this case. I'm sure we will get to see better side by side pics in the coming months.

I want TakTom's version but I can't justify the price.
