If you haven't already done so, find out the name of the video card manufacturer and the name and type of your video card (for example, I run a Nvidia Geforce 9600GT) you have and then go to the relevant webiste and download the latest drivers for your card.
Basic computer maintenance dictates that one should always do the following:
1. De-fragment your Harddrive/s regularly.
2. Ensure that the latest drivers for all internal and peripheral devices are installed regularly.
3. Ensure that a current Anti-Malware program is installed and regularly updated and that it's subscription is renewed at the end of it's life.
This will ensure that your computer has the best it can have to work with and that as many basic functional issues are mitigated.![]()
