something that was weird was that at TK the condition of the uiverse SE boxes have lots of white marks that look unappealing, i guess comes from the staff manhandling the toys, while at Kmart with tonnes of hungry hands touching the toys, the boxes are in relatively good condition without lines marks all over the boxes...
    Wanted items:

Yeah, I quite like these moulds - I picked them up when they were in the Classics 2-pack.

I'm just glad the new Megatron has his feet assembled the right way around this time!

I saw these at my local TRU and had a gander. Wasn't all that interested in Prime as I don't like the toy that much, but had a passing interest in Dragstrip and Overkill.

Then I checked the price on a scanner.

    $50!

    Lost interest quickly after that.

They were $40 at Morely TRU yesterday.

Hasbro price is 'recommended', or at least, estimated from what stores *should be* marking up to, from their wholesale price. Hasbro said they can't legally force a retailer to sell at a certain price, which would probably be something to do with whatever the anti-competition laws are, which cover suppliers and retailers.

I decided to pick up Dragstrip since I don't have that mold already. He is pricey but I think he was the only one worth it, since Prime and Megz aren't that interesting and I already have Classics grimlock.

How much did you pay for it? I found one today for $39.95, four cents cheaper than Toys R Us... (-_-) I still cannot justify paying basically forty bucks for a Deluxe (and a repaint to boot). I can see how not having Mirage would make it more enticing though - it is a sweet mould.
