Unfortunately they aren't the same as the ones in Toyworld (Deluxes $30, Voyagers $50 and the legends $20!!!) But hey I had a "screw it I'm gonna grab one" because I felt that if I wanted to see them again, I should grab one ASAP (previous times I saw something once and didn't grab it, I didn't see it again for months or even over a year!!!)

Not as of yet, with no Uncle Petes stores any more, we've only got Wollongong TRU Express, Shellharbour TRU and Kiama Toyworld to rely on outside of the Big Retail outlets.

Well for the benefit of all those who're reading this thread from the Illawarra and surrounds, as well as those with an interest in Independent Toy Stores too I guess:

The Illawarra Mercury: January 12th 2015.

Here's a brief snippet of the story which basically gives all the necessary details.

I haven't been out to Shell Harbour Square to be able to confirm for certain, but going off of some of these comments it'd seem that the Shellharbour store is also closed.

Bit sad really, this is the store that supplied me with many an early '06 Classics figure, including the 2x "Deluxe" Deluxes that now reside in Trev's collection as well as a number of ROTF Human Alliance Mudflaps (That were HELL of rare) that I middle-manned for fellow members, including Griffin.

Sadly, for Wollongong, this is just another in a long-Long-LONG list of businesses that have closed down and means that we'll be even more reliant on Sydney stores and Online Retail.

Yeah the decline of Uncle Pete's is actually a bit confusing, the only ones that are around according to the website are Castle Towers, Brookvale, Manly Vale, and Erina. Despite this there are still a few more around, like Tuggerah and Macarthur. There used to be one at Blacktown that I always loved to go to but that's now a Dick Smith
It's a shame but I most likely will be saying goodbye to my Childhood once the one at Castle Towers shuts down.
