Default Mighty Muggs cancelled after 2 waves?

Looks like the trial of TFs Mighty Muggs may have only lasted 2 waves, and they haven't even been released yet. If retailers aren't interested, the distributor (Hasbro) may have just cut their losses and stopped the series before they started manufacturing the 3rd wave of Shockwave and Jazz. Since we are the dumping ground for any failed toyline, we will probably see the first six of the TFs MMs (Op, Meg, BBee, Soundwave, Grimlock, Starscream) in our stores.
This American wholesaler lists them as cancelled, as not even being produced by the supplier:

They removed the Shockwave and Jazz pics, so go here for a look at what they would have looked like:

This could also be an error by that wholesaler, or, they are just not stocking them anymore and mistakenly said they weren't being produced.

hmm was looking forward to a couple of these but cancelling these figures might benefit us as well in terms of retail price...not a must to get but good to have

Doesn't bother me, wouldn't have got them too even though they have some "cute" factor, they look like "bu dao weng - 不倒翁"...

bu dao weng - 不倒翁 (in mandarin) means Roly Poly Figure.

I see both of your hands, and by the way, your feet don't count either, so no, not 4 from you.

Not something I'm actively after. But if I ever see them in person I'd probably end up giving in and pick them up (if cheap).

Not that I care all that much. The Mighty Muggs concept wasn't all that suited to Transformers anyway. Look at Shockwave, for example-since they all have to conform to the Mighty Muggs body shape, his head is a giant round purple orb with a single eye, which looks ridiculous compared to his G1 shape, IMO.

Plus we already have Robot Heroes. And honestly, the best bit about Transformers lies in the fact that they transform. They'd be generic toy robots/cars/whatever otherwise.
