    I concur,

MP-04 is the best, but also the most expensive.

Masterpiece Rodimus Prime is the best.

(Not that I actually have a Rodimus yet, but the Optimus mould bores me.)

You're right! Its probably the best engineering for G1 Optimus but its very plain and simple.

Rodimus has a stunning amount of gimmicks and seems like he'll eat up most of my play time.

I actually play more with henkei optimus and the g3 trailer with the roller launching mechanism.

Universe 1.0 or BW II/Neo perhaps?

Tis a good question there Sharky, hmm...

They were released (well, overseas not here ) in 2003 and the packaging style looks more Armada to me than Universe.

We've had similar dilemmas like this before, such as:
+ Mutant Beasts: the "Beast Wars" logo doesn't appear on the packaging, but the packaging style is Beast Wars like so people tend to lump them in w/ BW (although their first canonical appearance was during Beast Machines...)
+ Beast Machines Dinobots: the "Beast Machines" logo doesn't appear on the packaging, only "Dinobots" - much like the Dinobots you're talking about here Sharky. But they're commonly classified as Beast Machines by fans because of the packaging style.
+ Some Classics figures lacked the word "Classic" appearing on the packaging, such as Ultra Magnus and Skywarp, but many fans classify them as Classics due to the same packaging style.

I'd be inclined to classify these toys as part of Armada if I had them.

I could see the reasoning for classifying them as Universe (1.0), but definitely not BW Second or Neo. Besides, some of those moulds are from the original Beast Wars; e.g. Terranotron and Grimlock are repaints of Terrorsaur and Dinobot respectively. Or maybe repaints of BW Grimlock and Lazorbeak... not sure (BW Grimmie and Lazorbeak have rub sign indents whereas Dinobot and Terrorsaur don't - I've never seen the "Armada" Dinobots for myself IRL so I have no idea if they have the rub sign indents or not; I suspect they may be repaints of Grimlock and Lazorbeak rather than of Dinobot and Terrorsaur (as they're later versions of those moulds)).

I love those Dinobots, I got the whole set from a member on here about 6 months ago.

I've got them listed as Armada in my Transformers database thing.
I'm really just here for the free food and open bar.
