    I've listed them as the 'Datsun Bros.' for ages when mentioning them.

    It's just quicker and easier, and everyone knows what I mean (well, apparently not everybody).

    In this sense, it's not meant in a literal way, just describing that it's essentially 3 of the same guy.

    Apart from online stores and the occasional news article on fan sites, does anyone know a website that lists the breakdown of the case for each wave?

    Bigbadtoystore and Entertainment Earth are probably the most prolific... but only mainstream stuff though.
    Entertainment Earth is the best for revision assortment info.

    3 Questions;

    - Would anyone know how much weight a shelf in a Detolf would hold? I'm afraid to put any leader classes as I'm afraid if would be too much for it.

    - Should I release any area with springs? Like all the Cybertron series figures have spring loaded abilities, will those areas wear out if I keep them compressed?

    - What's a good series before RID to watch?

    Those shelves can hold a fair bit of weight.

    I've seen heavy statues supported just fine.

    I can't think of any Leader figure that I think would be too heavy.

    Detolf shelves are tempered glass, you should be able to find weight limit specifications on the Ikea Web site for them. most likely on the detolf listing. I would be surprised if you could fit enough leader class figures stacked up to cause one of those shelves to fail.
    Impact is different, if you hit them with a hammer they woiuld probably shatter. but if you just dropped a leader class toy on them you'd most likely just have a scary noise.

    over time a compressed spring will gradually fatigue and "lose it's springiness". the time frame and amount of springiness lost will depend on the specific material used in the spring, the dimensions of the spring including it's cross section and primarily how close the compression or tension on the spring comes to the yield strength of the material the spring is made from.
    I personally don't leave many of my figures guns loaded, just in case, but you'd probably happily expect a good decade out of the types of springs you'd expect to find in a toy.

    I personally like G1 but that's what I grew up with, it's dated somewhat
