Hard to say since he hardly ever appears on ebay. The last one I saw went pretty high at over US$100 and he was snapped in two! But that was a single auction, have not seen any before or since.

Check your PMs Kup, I have a good condition loose Pyro I'm reluctant to let go of but could be persuaded to trade for a few significant wanted pieces of my own.

Could anybody tell me what the names are of the Transformers reference books that pertain to TF collecting and character (G1) model references please?

I know that one of the collecting ones has G1 Prime on the cover and one of the character model ones has Leozack's alt mode on it's cover, but I just can't think of their names.

Any other publications that people would recommend would also be appreciated too.

In my opinion, Generations and the original Cybertronian guides are the best. I haven't read the Mark Bellomo guide but it looks okay too. A link to many of them can be found here: http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Category:Reference_texts

When you say 'character models', are you referring to the cartoon? If so, 'The Ark' (bottom left) is the book you want.

Yeah, there is a Japanese one as well. Optimus1 is selling a copy in his sales thread. Not sure if it's still available though.

Oh, and as weird as it sounds, I got my copy of The Ark from Angus and Robertson. Give them a shot.
