For the past week I've had what I can best describe as corked lower-back muscles.

Sunday - Wednesday were utterly horrible; practically unable to walk, sitting in anything other than our lounge was excruciating, using the loo and getting dressed, it has all been incredibly frustrating.

Thursday onwards I've been doing a series of lower-back muscle stretches/exercises, followed by at least 5mins of walking (Which I swear I looked as retarded as I felt); it hasn't helped that the strain has been playing on my Sciatic Nerve either, leading to a "flare-up" at about 5:00am on Friday morning that had me doubling over in pain whilst trying to get out of bed to use the dunny.

Up until last night, I've had to take Ibuprofen to relax the muscles and somewhat mask the pain just to be able to get to sleep!

This past week has felt so incredibly unproductive as I've not been able to get anything done that I really wanted to, the only plus being that I've caught up on 12 seasons of South Park... Which desn't feel as good to say as I'd like it to.

This whole getting older thing is thoroughly overrated!

She got the message, but not the reference.

Her father (my brother) had a laugh though.

I ordered a book for $350 from amazon using a third party brand new. Upon delivery the corners a bingled, a deep scratch on the cover, pages are marked along the outside (when the book is closed). It is clearly not brand new and is second hand. What are my chances of a refund? I dont really want to return it as I need it for my studies. I have sent an email asking how will they rectify this issue. What are my options?

I would start with emailing amazon and explain your situation exactly. There is a feedback option there somewhere on sellers as well and amazon have a chat option as well. so give that a crack. Even though they are 3rd party sellers, amazon still appears to ahve quite a bit od sway in how they do stuff.

Jeebus at that price, I'd want at least a partial refund. I guess if you get no help from the seller, Amazon should be able to help.
