Paint wise and weathering, you wont find better, The paint apps ive seen so far are excellent. articulation wise their also pretty good, many of the bigger bots have joints all through their fingers so they can bent each finger individually. Many people cry that 3A gear is real expensive, if your picking up the human figures or the smaller bots the cost is pretty decent, with most human figures going for around the same, if not less of what most other 1/6 figures go for (hot toys, medicoms RAH etc) But once you start buying bigger bots they can get pricey, but you need to take into consideration the shipping too (when you buy off the 3A store shipping is included in the price of the figure) and those bigger bots can weigh up to 7kg shipped.

Overall though I think if you only pick up the characters you really want (many bots are simply repaints) then its not so expensive, once you start trying to collect every release then you may as well take out a second mortgage on your house.

As for rex, they say it'll be released next year, but it could be longer. There was a video floating around of the rail gun, it actually has small lights along the top and bottom that light up similar to in the game.
