Unfortunately it's only VHS scale: +/- 400x300 pixels, but regardless it's pretty darn good quality - especially the audio.
    Congrats on 'RELOCATING' those seasons.
Yeah it's a bummer when your favourite shows don't get the DVD-release treatment and when they do; it's only on the other side of the world! (Johnny Bravo, DARIA!!)

Hursticon: how did you do the digital relocation? Did you do it yourself or did you pay for the service? Cos I got lots of stuff on VHS (e.g. Micron Legend, Beast Wars Neo etc.) that I wanna convert to DVD, but they charge like $10 a disc.

The baby alpaca we had born last Friday has finally started drinking from it's mother - with a bit of luck no more messy bottle-feeding it for me!

I think I have something similar, I got some cables to convert VHS to USB. Haven't tried it out yet, but it shouldn't be too hard to get done.

I'll try giving it a go Thursday night and see how I go.

What 1AZRAEL1 has described will work - pending your PC has the resources and the software to do it, also one has to bare in mind that the process takes as long to perform as the footage's duration and then some because it then has to be transcoded into DVD format, not to mention all the space you'll need for all the equipment.

That is why Goki, you'll find you're being quoted at $10 a disc because the process takes quite a bit of time, though the process itself is considerably simple.

My father had some old SLSLS and Go-cart footage on 16mm that ran for a little over 10mins that cost him $60 to put on DVD as they had to 'rip' it from the old film, clean it of artefacts and the like frame by frame and then transcode it to DVD - the whole process took about 3 days.

Oh yeah, just to clarify dude, when I said 'Digitally Relocating' - I meant something slightly different... Downloaded

I've transferred all my favourite VHS movies to DVD. All I used was a DVD Recorder and hooked up my VCR. The only problem I have encountered is when the VHS tape is copy protected, then it won't work.

I've done some wedding videos for friends / family as well. Just loaded it on the PC after conversion to add menus and stuff. It works really well.

Got up this morning and found a missile in my bed.

Turns out little Unicron shot me in my sleep from across the room
