I honestly don't get it, I know there's a lot disliking to Beast Wars and yet some of the asking prices outstrip G1 figures... It just makes no sense to me beyond ye old Capitalism.

Basically, yeah. I learnt my lesson with the 10th Anniversary figures, the Takara versions are far superior.

First of all I'm not the one who bid on it (I'm broke atm)...I was merely watching, and I'd like to know what exactly is this so called "Brave Maximus" version, what's its relation to/difference from the original G1 Fortress Maximus? A MIB one of the latter will probably cost 5 times the price of this "Brave" version I'd imagine.

The usual price for a boxed Fort Max would be about $900-$1000 roughly (thats at the high end of the price scale too). The average price for the Brave Max was usually around $400-$500 MIB/MISB not long ago so it seems to be getting more expensive. The most expensive Max is Grand Maximus and MIB goes for over $2000 easily.

Well I suppose its been over a year since I looked for a Fort Max but I must say that is some very DEEP price gouging. Glad I bought that Japanese Fort Max last year for just over $1000 (still haven't got it yet though *sigh* he is teasing me).
