This Guy is selling Beast Wars parts. Having spent half my life chasing such things, but now ironically not after any myself, I can't stress how irregularly these types of things come up. Get in there!

TRANSFORMERS: DEICIDE -- The Beast Wars 20th Anniversary Comic Book series that could have been...
TRANSFORMERS: UNITY -- the BotCon 2016 Comic Book that should have been...
Someone plonked down $1,641 on a Botcon Breakdown from a seller with a feedback ranking of 6. (If OTCA had a raises-one-eyebrow emoticon I would be using it now.)
I cant see (on mobile site) when the auction ended but it was just yesterday that Seibertron tweeted. Maybe someone was very eager to@seibertroncom: Willing to pay over $1,000 for a MOSC version of @BotCon G2 Breakdown (1994). Does not have to be the BotCon version.cash inhelp and didn't stop to look at feedback numbers?
So, one of the early botcon exclusives was a repaint of g2 breakdown?
I'd say the auction is legit if not ridiculously overpriced. the seller has been around for a while, just isn't particularly active.
It was the first Botcon toy.
And not even a repaint, it just had that sticker on the back of it (Not that G2 Breakdown was ever available at regular retail).
$500 would be an expected value... as that's what BBTS sold their latest one for (to me, once again, thanks to TinyJazz for spotting it).
True what was said above about auctions effectively reflecting a current value... but it can be flawed in two ways. One is that the top bidder could be a fake to see how much the second highest (most likely Siebertron.com) was willing to bid (which means one person at least values it at that price)... and even if both top bidders were legit, it could well mean that they are the only two desperate people who values that figure that highly, while everyone else who is interested, might only value it at half that (like I did).
If I was still looking for one, I'd still be looking for one listed for about $500, as that's how much it would be worth to most people wanting that figure... but as we've seen in the past though - the moment something rare suddenly sells at an inflated price, every future listing follows it.
