Certainly a good option, it's a fantastic game visually, and alot of fun to play with friends, but there is no real incentive to finish the game with each character, other than to know you have done it. Certainly worth $40-$50 but not full price.

Yeh, the ending battle is a bit of a let down, and the endings certainly do suck. But as a long time fan of the vs series, I enjoy it. I spend so much time in the training mode just messing around with various character combinations and the fact that Arthur from ghouls n Ghosts and Amaterasu from Okami manage to make up for the poor endings.

I do like the gallery mode you unlock for each character once you have beaten that allows you to take a ganer at the character models and listen to their voice.

I was a bit shocked at the first batch of DLC (yep, already), which is some pretty lame extra costumes for some characters. Eg, Capt America has a classic look. $8.45!!!!!! BAH!

Arthur certainly has the best entry (then Deadpool, they nailed him in this game)

Extras are fantastic, it's the lack of movies (and having the far too few unlockable characters so easy to unlock) that disappoint.

Saw some ingame clips for DeBlob 2 on PS3, it truly does look beautiful, and reviews so far are very favourable!

Been cranking a bit of red Dead Redemption lately. I have completed all the ambient missions (hunting/gathering etc) as far as I can go and now need to progress the story so I can get to West Elizabeth.

I gotta say though, It's a gorgeous game. I have spent quite a lot of time just riding my horse up large hills and being amazed at how far you can see. I spent a good 1o or so minutes watching the sun rise one time. And setting another time. No wonder I have about 2days play time clocked and haven't gotten very far.

This is my absolute fave game of all time. I bought it last year on release day and finished it a few weeks later. I eventually traded it in after playing it for months, but then re-bought it last week coz i wanted to do it all over again.

There's so much to see and do in this game. I love the hunting/gathering parts, the random side-of-the-road missions, the voice acting is so believable for John Marston.

If you haven't yet, once you finish RDR, play Undead Nightmare. It's a pretty cool add-on with heaps of zombie hunting and new weapons, and with a bit of humour thrown in. Nothing beats hunting a Bigfoot while riding a flaming horse or unicorn

I bought this a couple of weekends ago.

Turtle Beach Earforce X41 speakers and amp.

It produces Dolby 5.1/7.1 through an earphone.

    Its mighty impressive.

It works for both Xbox 360 and PS3.

I played Transformers War for Cyberton and NFS Hot Pursuit and was amazed at the quality of the sound. You hear movements and in theory it makes you a better gamer.

Its not cheap though but its well worth it. Horses for courses.

RRP was $250 and I haggled down to $220 at JBHIFI

The AMP works through the Digital Out of the Xbox 360 and the speakers are wireless. Best thing is it uses USB to power the AMP.

I wish I could complete RDR but I have the same problem with this as I did most of the GTA games - I just lost interest I get to a point where I get stuck, try it a few times, and then give up. Oh, and having two kids makes it hard to play my PS3 during the day, especially when most of my games are MA15+.

I can already predict that there will be a lot of late nights when my copy of MK shows up next month

Finally found and bought DeBlob2 on the DS, found out the hubby of a friend of mine helped make it, and I did love the Wii version. $38 at big W, made it near impossible to not nab.

Just updating everyone on the MK situation - WB have lost their appeal and the game will remain as RC. WB have already stated that they won't be releasing a 'watered-down' version of the game for the Aussie market which is unfortunate for local fans.

Also, it seems as though quite a few online stores are blocking the sale / import of MK to Australia. Play-Asia has a message on their order page "this item is not available in your territory" and Amazon US won't allow you to proceed past the checkout stage.

One of the only online stores that appear to still have it available is 365games.co.uk however considering Play-Asia initially had the game for preorder, there are no guarantees that 365games will honor orders placed with them.

I also want to make people aware that copies of L4D2 (uncensored version) were seized by customs last year and there are even reports of a $1000 fine being issued (not sure how true that last bit is). What I am trying to say is, if you order MK from OS you run the risk of it being seized and potentially being out-of-pocket as customs will not return the game for you to get a refund since it is illegal to export it as well.
