Me three! Though i don't see myself doing another run for a while, i'll probably go back and polish off the heart pieces. Baseball was awesome! You did realise hitting 3 pots in a row triggers the bird right? Makes it easy enough!

Although i've enjoyed console Zelda's very much overall (except Skyward Sword, stopped after first dungeon), i've always thought that 2d Zelda is just inherently better from not being constrained by a realistic approach. Makes for a much faster, more streamlined experience with almost no down time or fluff the whole way through. This was a brilliant example of game design!

The puzzles were perhaps a bit easy for my taste, and compared to the original LTTP, but it's been such a long time that i may be mis-remembering the old game a bit.

Almost makes me want to go back to Skyward Sword, but knowing how slow and hand-holding it is by comparison... i'll think i'll leave it for a good while still :P

I'm late to the party, but finally played Tomb Raider over the last few days. LOVED it.

I'm a big fan of the Tomb Raider games (since the original on PSX) so I wasn't sure a reboot would work. The previous reboot (Legend) had done a great job and I would have been happy if they'd remade the other games with that engine like they did with the first/Anniversary.

I put the game in to have a bit of play and was still playing four hours later. The difficulty level was just right, not too hard to be throw-the-controller frustrating, not too easy to be boring. I got into the flow and just couldn't put it down.

Several multi-hour plays later and I've completed the story and am finishing off some of the challenges and all that.

It's not the most original game though. There were elements that reminded me of Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, and the Arkham games, but it was like the best of those combined with Lara. Hope to hear about a sequel soon.

Tomb raider was only second to Bioshock Infinite for my favourite game release of the year.

Perfect pacing, great combat and an interesting story that left enough loose ends to remain mysterious. Every time I got Lara killed by my incompetence (usually from admiring the scenery rather than the qte) I felt horrible!

Just finished arkham city story, it was very enjoyable but a fair bit silly with the league of assassins characters. Now to hunt down all the Riddler trophies and Zasz calls. I think it will be harder than asylum.
Looking For: Wreckers Saga TPB Collection (with Requiem)

The only combat bit I didn't like was the helicopter/shantytown bit. Needed to google a solution as I kept being overwhelmed. I wanna replay that battle and see if I can do better with a better hang of the combat controls.

I got the game in April I just found out, but played all 3 Uncharted Games first (because they'd been on my shelf a long time too and I wanted to work oldest-new). I enjoyed those too but I should have bet on Lara.

I know its not strictly computer/console, but I am thoroughly addicted to Angry Birds Go! the racing game on my iPhone 5. Most fun I've had racing since Mario Kart 64 (Mario Kart Wii never quite did it for me, though the wife loved it). Some of the glider level designs are really interesting and fun!

Quite interesting seeing our different playstyles on Mas Effect 3 multiplayer

I play as the N7 Destroyer, with bullets, missiles and grenades flying everywhere

My 10-year-old plays as a Batarian and employs hit and run tactics (one of his solo runs went for nearly 45 minutes)

My 12-year-old plays as a Krogan, whaling into everyone with melee attacks with his electric hammer.

Hehe, just finished playing through Redneck Rampage - A hilarious & fun Doom clone.
It has some game-breaking bugs still present 16-17 years after its release, but there are work arounds if you know what you're doing.

Here's some screenies for you kids to look over :

It took me a while to get into Skyward Sword, but when I did, I really got attached and immersed in the world. Once you begin getting upgrades and more items while tackling tougher dungeons you won't be able to stop until it's finished.

Pretty obvious why Mario Karl Wii didn't warm the hearts of many people, the stupid damn blue shells, literally punishes skill drivers and rewards drivers based on luck.
