Certainly a new realm of technology that he'll surely excel in - I'll just miss him on the games is all , Doom 3 with Oculus Rift would indeed be friggin' freaky!

that good to hear ...! i can't wait to try it out .... With Carmack taking the lead he going to push the limits of the technology on both fronts as he got an amazing programming background and know the limitation of the hardware , so it only going to get better ....

New Ratchet and Clank game, into the Nexus is a blast. Visually, it has a different look and feel, but it plays like a Ratchet and Clank game should and the weapons are all top notch.

Only seems to have 5 planets, so it'll be very short and there doesn't seem to be much to collect. It's meant to end the Tools of Destruction trilogy, but feels more like a fill in game like quest for booty.
Looking For: Wreckers Saga TPB Collection (with Requiem)

Had I try on my friend Oculus rift VR .... And I got to say it is an awesome gimmick .... I was very excited to muck around with it , and the motion sensor on the head unit is very good very little to no lag at all , so when you move your head alittle to the left the whole scene move and when you look behind you 180 it turn around ! just like your there..! ... It a dev kit at the moment so the imaging is in low res , close up of images has a "flyscreen" effect and the 3d strain your eyes at first ,Slow tour of our solar system was amazing .... but the worst is that you get Motion sickness when it goes too fast like on a roller-coaster ride... which is awesome !! but it really f**k you up!! I don't sick at all watching a 3hour 3d movie ....but this one ride really mess up your senses ... Had a go with it on halflife2 as well but the movement was just to disorienting to be playable for any length of time , cause I notice to we only move our neck just a little degrees to the right and left , but when your playing the game you basically turn 90 degree to go to that direction ...... So I played with it for around half an hour , but after that I was sick for around 2hour !!! ...the feeling is just BAD like sea sickness!! so for now it be only a gimmick .... But the first time you look around in a 3D VR environment in all direction ...left ,right , up and down and 180 behind you is just amazing!

Same here, I really enjoyed it, but man the heart piece for the baseball derby made me want to head smash my wall.

Big sale on the PSN store. Games as low as $6, picked up Batman Arkham Asylum, LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean, Sleeping Dogs, and Battlefield Bad Company 2. I've played them all on Xbox360 years ago, but couldn't pass these up.

Other games on sale include (rough prices from memory): Tomb Raider $22, Dishonoured $22, Bioshock 2 $6, Transformers FOC $30, Crysis 3 $10, Ni No Kuni $11, Borderlands 2 $11, plus plenty of other games. Need bigger harddrive, need more spare time to play these games

Knocked off Arkham Origins yesterday. Good little game, pretty much a carbon copy of City, but I am not complaining. Story wasn't as quite as "Whooo" as the other two, but it was amusing enough for me to have felt like I got my money's worth.

Some of the fights with the bosses were a tad annoying. I found BanE a pain especially when he went to his venom charge thing, so bloody hard to dodge out of the way sometimes, and the final fight, as I was unsure for a long time how to do it, then when I worked out what t do, tight areas and camera in wrong spot issues meant Batman got more of an ass whipping than he should have as I couldn't see what was going on.

Now to finish the challenges and what not.
