Nice Work Sleev, I was thinking about starting a PS3 thread, but this will do nicely.

    Other threads of interest.
    PS3 Gamer tags and chat
    Console Wars chat (of sorts)
    Wii Thread

I am playing Uncharted 2, which is fun, the platformy bits are weaker than say tomb raider, but the characters and action parts make up for it soooo much. Managed to gte it for $50 tahnks to a tag happy Kmart worker! Obviously thought ALL pictures with Drake on the front needed to be marked down! ZING!
Also playing Call of Duty World at War, being a pacific war nut, I couldn't resist the opportunity to play at the invasion of Okinawa. And to have a go at all the guns is great.
Batman was awesome! Gonna have a bash on the hard difficulty now.
I strongly recommend Flower, which can be bought from the PSN Shop. Very cool adn something different. Even the wife likes to play it!!
Oh and on some older consoles, Ico and Shadow of the Colosuss. Both very nice.

How can I play so many games? Very slowly....

Plus Exam time at the moment, so a little bash for relaxation and thats about it....

On a final note, is Wipeout HD worth it? I like Wipeout, but have Pulse on my PSP and I heard that HD was just Jazzed up versions of the PSP games.

I was playing Kingdoms-Of-Amalur.I ended up playing about two hours of this last night and had a pretty good time. The demo was hard to get into knowing that my character was not going to stick with me, but now that I'm actually playing the full game I'm definitely into it.

Dear gamers, especially those that are fans of Doom,

Does anyone know why this novel, the 3rd installment in a 4-part series of Doom novels costs $55 compared to the other novels which only cost like $6!?!?!?!??!

    Because they're severely overcharging!

Have a geeze at BookDepository, I'm dead sure you'll find both the 3rd and 4th books there at a way reduced cost; I own the 1st 2 as they're based on Doom: Ultimate & Doom 2: Hell on Earth respectively, the 3rd and 4th aren't bound to any game and go off on their own tangent or so I've read.

Pleases me greatly that someone else is willing to pick these up, I'm pretty lonely in my Original Doom Fanboy status.

Only Doom related book I've read is 'Masters of Doom' by David Kushner and it was epic.

And one I'm still yet to add to my collection, along with the Doom 3 novelizations.
