It's so gonna take you for a ride
Is that a good or bad thing?
Surely that song is dead and buried!
Have they revealed the boss of the game yet? I read rumours it could be spoiler? Galactus which could be cool. Abyss in the MvC2 was a pretty crappy boss. I think I'll be waiting to get MvC3 until I can get it cheaper than $90.
I got the God of War collection for free over the weekend (well via the Coke Unleashed rewards promotion) and started playing the original God of War. It does feel dated and very much a PS2 game despite some updated graphics, but I'm enjoying it so far (although Kratos has far too many problems balancing on the beams of the ships in the first level).
I have come late to the party. Only got around to getting my 360 last July for WFC.
So this will be my 1st Marvel vs Capcom, only one I ever played was the the arcade
Ya Galactus be the boss:

that poor cat...
Great about Duke!
You heard "Gonna take you for a ride" (as a song lyric) a lot in the second game, which is what Gutsman was getting at.
The second game is well worth a download if it's available on the Xbox (It is on the Playstation network) especially as it has a huge roster of playable characters all unlocked at the start. This includes every playable Marvel character from the X-Men fighting game, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs SF, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom.
Finally found the once missing DVD for Dead Space, reinstalled it and finished the last 4 chapters. If I were to describe the feeling of playing Dead Space, I'd say it's like watching the latest Exorcism movie. It starts off nicely, you're liking where things are going but after a while it becomes obvious the good ideas have run dry. The Exorcism movie seems to realise this as is evidenced by its stupidly abrupt and ambiguous ending. Dead Space on the other hand? It also starts to become stale but does it end? Does it *gasp* get better? Negative. It goes on and on and on and on (ironically, like a bad nightmare). And if you thought the ending to the last Exorcism movie was bad, Dead Space will blow you away. I'm surprised the last boss wasn't a giant herring that continually slaps you in the face, at least then I could tell the developers have a sense of humour. If this and RE5 are the future of action survival horror, god help us all.
So is this the gaming equivalent of sci-fi greats like Event Horizon, Sunshine, Pitch Black or Solaris? In a word, no. If anyone thinks this is the sci-fi equivalent of the utterly brilliant RE4, they're kidding themselves...
