Default Duke Nukem Forever Passes Classification

    Courtesy of AusGamers.com.au:

Our cool-cat friends over at Gamepron did some sleuthy investigative work this morning, and managed to discover that 2K Games' forthcoming Duke Nukem Forever has passed classification here in Australia, and emerged, unchanged, with an MA15+ rating.
Duke is due to arrive on PC, PS3 and the Xbox 360 May 6th.

You heard "Gonna take you for a ride" (as a song lyric) a lot in the second game, which is what Gutsman was getting at.

The second game is well worth a download if it's available on the Xbox (It is on the Playstation network) especially as it has a huge roster of playable characters all unlocked at the start. This includes every playable Marvel character from the X-Men fighting game, Marvel Super Heroes, X-Men vs SF, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom.

Finally found the once missing DVD for Dead Space, reinstalled it and finished the last 4 chapters. If I were to describe the feeling of playing Dead Space, I'd say it's like watching the latest Exorcism movie. It starts off nicely, you're liking where things are going but after a while it becomes obvious the good ideas have run dry. The Exorcism movie seems to realise this as is evidenced by its stupidly abrupt and ambiguous ending. Dead Space on the other hand? It also starts to become stale but does it end? Does it *gasp* get better? Negative. It goes on and on and on and on (ironically, like a bad nightmare). And if you thought the ending to the last Exorcism movie was bad, Dead Space will blow you away. I'm surprised the last boss wasn't a giant herring that continually slaps you in the face, at least then I could tell the developers have a sense of humour. If this and RE5 are the future of action survival horror, god help us all.

So is this the gaming equivalent of sci-fi greats like Event Horizon, Sunshine, Pitch Black or Solaris? In a word, no. If anyone thinks this is the sci-fi equivalent of the utterly brilliant RE4, they're kidding themselves...

Shinji Mikami at his absolute best! Really hope they make it available on Xbox Live one day, that would be uneal.

Dammit, I decided to give the Dead Space 2 (X360) demo a go today and now I really want to play the full thing. >_< The combat is so much smoother, there's actually variety in the enemies (and even better, how they attack) and the set pieces seem a lot more frequent. Can anyone confirm whether the full game remains as entertaining as the demo? I'm now wondering if part of the reason why I tired of the gameplay in Dead Space 1 was due to having played it on the PC rather than the X360. You can tell straight away that they've improved the flow of combat for the sequel but it just seems so much easier/more intuitive to simply move around, change weapon, activate stasis etc on the Xbox controller. Oh well, back to play the demo again I go...

Wrote in the Pokemons thread already, but I think tomorrow is the last day to get a shiny Raikou in Glod/Silve/Diamond/Pearl/Platinum with special moves, and from Monday you can get a shiny Suicune (or Entei?), with the last of the shiny special trio out the following week.

Transfer all thee to Black/White to get another legendary pokemon.

All you need is the game, a DS and wifi connection, so if you dont have one at home, head to a local Maccas, gloria Jeans etc.
Looking For: Wreckers Saga TPB Collection (with Requiem)
